Biltrite Sign Service was founded by Neal Clark, pictured here working in Texas during the Depression. Neal was an accomplished neon bender who decided to open up his own sign shop in Greeley, Colorado in 1962.

In 1972, Neal’s son Lynn joined the business. In 1974 they incorporated Biltrite Sign Service and Lynn took over as President of the company.

Lynn and his wife Vi continue to work at Biltrite Sign. During their 35 years with the company, it has grown to include a 10 employees and a new 6800 square foot facility located in Evans, Colorado.

In 1999, their son-in-law Scott Riley joined the company and is now the General Manager. Neal’s granddaughter Nicole, Scott’s wife, has followed in her grandfather’s footsteps and is currently the neon bender for Biltrite Sign.

The business continues to grow and seek out new opportunities in the sign industry after three generations of family in the sign business.
